Vates Collards is long standing, heat resistant & winter hardy. It can produce a crop into very cold autumn weather. Start indoors or direct sow. Vates Collards have thick, tender, deep green, oval-shaped, and upright leaves. They are sweeter in the fall but delicious anytime. Great for spring or fall.
For companion planting: Plant with Beets, Celery, Chards, Cucumbers, Lettuce, Onions, Potatoes, and Spinach. Plant with Chamomile and Garlic to improve growth and flavor. Planting with Dill improves growth and health of the plant.
