Cubanelle Pepper also known a Cuban Pepper. This heirloom variety has sweet taste. Sometimes it can be slightly hot but with a touch of heat. Generally, produce 6-8-inch light yellowish green pepper that will turn to orange then dark red when it ripens. Unlike bell peppers, which have thick walls, the cubanelle has thin walls, making it a great pick for frying or stuffing. Many cooks prefer it to bell types. Also used in some Latin cuisine.
